Heifer Festival

11:00AM 4:00PM

This is an annual event that is currently celebrating it's 15th anniversary. The festival primarily benefits/supports Heifer International that works to fight hunger and poverty both in the US and internationally. It provides relief to families by providing livestock and the training to care for the livestock. These animals are pregnant and become the property of recipient families to sell the meat, milk, etc. these animals provide to benefit the individual families and their community.

Huge Silent Auction with many great items!

All kinds of activities for the kids including Carnival Games with general store to get prizes, face painting, coloring contest, crafts, cake walk, petting zoo and our very popular Teddy Bear Surgery which involves OSU Veterinary students that come to do "surgery" on all of the beloved stuffed animals that have been torn or cut, to repair them back to their former health.

Ag demonstrations: Bee keepers, candle making, apple press, milk the cow station and more.

Food and live music the entire day.

Crafters and vendors of various items

Well behaved pets welcome and can participate in the pretty pet costume contest.
