Susan G. Komen Findlay Race for the Cure

The 5th Annual Susan G. Komen Findlay Race for the Cure will be held at the Blanchard Valley Health System Campus. This family friendly event begins with activities at 7:00 am and the walk/run event kicks off at 9:00 am. Activities include Survivor tent, Sponsor Expo, Kids Zone, Kids Dash complete with pink capes for the first 200 children ages 5 to 10 years of age, and an After Party featuring local band The Athen Ry. Register fee includes t-shirt and supports local breast health programs for underinsured women battling breast cancer in the area.  

Free Shred it Day-HSLC parking lot

9:00AM 12:00PM

Come out to the HSLC parking lot, 116 E. Franklin St. Kenton for this free, open to the public event. Paper only will be accepted. Just drive up and volunteers wil be on hand to unload boxes. Donations will be accepted to go to Helping Hands Outreach Ministry. Co-sponsored by HSLC and Ace Hardware.

Not by Choice Progressive Dinner

Stroll Around Town to Bring Cancer Down will begin at 5:00 pm at Table One, 1 North Detroit St., Kenton. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased from any Not By Choice member.
